Q Bags, also called baffle FIBCs or form-stable bulk bags, contain internal panels that connect the body walls. Openings in these baffles allow the packed material to move through the bag while limiting outward bulging. The result is a more rectangular filled profile than a conventional FIBC.

Improved shape retention can support more efficient use of pallet, warehouse and freight-container space. Actual performance depends on the product flow characteristics, bulk density, filling method, bag dimensions and baffle design, so each application must be evaluated separately.

How Baffle Construction Works

Internal baffles are sewn into the bag body and incorporate apertures selected to permit product flow during filling. Their position, fabric and opening geometry must be compatible with the contents so that filling remains balanced and the final load is stable.

Q Bags can be configured with different top, bottom, liner and lifting-loop options. Where a liner is required, it must fit the baffle construction and remain compatible with filling and discharge. Sift-resistance, moisture protection and electrostatic performance are separate specification questions and should not be inferred from the baffle design.

When to Consider a Q Bag

Baffle FIBCs are considered when cube efficiency and shape retention are important for palletized storage or container loading. They may suit free-flowing powders, granules and other dry bulk products, subject to product trials and an approved specification.

Share the product bulk density, particle size, target weight, filling rate, transport method and allowable filled dimensions. These values determine whether a baffle design is appropriate and how the internal panels, apertures and bag body should be constructed.

Custom Production and International Orders

Q bags are produced to the approved dimensions, baffle arrangement and handling specification. Minimum order quantity varies by construction. Production lead time and container-loading options depend on the bag type, order quantity and delivery plan for the international shipment.
